Virtual Weigh Station Video
Virtual Weigh Station Overview
In this video, Tom Der, IRD’s Director of Sales, describes IRD’s Virtual Weigh Stations. Over the years, IRD has developed a reputation for developing innovative systems that integrate Weigh-In-Motion (WIM) with other technology. IRD’s virtual weigh stations integrate multiple technologies with WIM and have been widely deployed to make commercial vehicle enforcement more efficient. The system described uses IRD’s iSINC® electronics to provide data on commercial vehicle weights and truck identification to law enforcement personnel over the internet.
