IRD supports the A-Team for the Relay for Life, a 24 hour relay in Saskatoon in support of the Canadian Cancer Society.
Relay For Life gives you and your community the opportunity to celebrate cancer survivors, remember and honour loved ones lost to cancer, and fight back against all cancers.
All money raised will be donated to the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency where 100% percent of the money stays in Saskatchewan and goes directly towards funding numerous local research projects.

Spectrum was first held in 1930 as a forum for students of the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Engineering to present their design projects to friends, family, and faculty. Since then, Spectrum has grown to become known as “North America’s largest student-run exhibition of Science and Technology”. The exhibition takes place every three years and is organized by students from the College of Engineering
In Memory of Tanya Loewen, a coworker and good friend to many IRD team members.
This award is offered annually to female students who are entering their final or next to final year towards a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, specializing in any discipline.
For almost 10 years IRD PAT employees have made contributions to the “Fundación Luz” (Light Foundation), a school for visually impaired children in Chile.
