COVID-19 – Continuing to Care for Our Global Family of Customers, Vendors and Partners

These are challenging times for all of us. We see the news of the virus spreading, and our hearts go out to all the healthcare teams, local communities and governments around the world working to contain COVID-19.

For 40 years, safety has been one of the core values of IRD’s businessEvery day we work to improve the safety of roads for all usersWith this new crisis we are facing, we are prioritizing the safety of our team, their families, and the many people we work with on a daily basis

Since the first COVID-19 cases were reported, the IRD team, including our global subsidiaries, have undertaken extensive measures to flatten the curve and minimize the risk of transmission of the virus while continuing to provide necessary services to our worldwide customers, vendors, and partners. In addition to some team members transitioning to flexible work arrangements, these measures include:

  • Compliance with hygiene regulations and quarantines as recommended by health professionals
  • Cessation of international business travel
  • Compliance with regional travel restrictions
  • Extensive use of remote meeting services

We are working with our global team to ensure support to our customers is affected as little as possible. In addition to the above precautions, and in order to maintain a high level of service to our customers, we remain open for business and have adopted a “business as usual – with enhanced precautions” approach. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Keeping adequate stock in inventory considering the potential for supply chain disruptions
  • Maintaining project and production services without interruption, while limiting face-to-face interactions amongst staff and suppliers
  • Continued field service support, both domestically and internationally, to ensure all service and project requirements are met in a timely manner

We appreciate your business and support, and we understand the impact this situation is having on everyone. Rest assured that we remain committed to you, and to your needs, even as we adjust operations to ensure the safety of our staff.
