Position Purpose:

In the role of ITS Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing field service, maintenance, and installations and instrumental in delivering world-class technology systems to our customers. Your day-to-day will include, assessing safety risks, installations, maintenance and working with IRD team members to help facilitate successful deployments. You will be expected to contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and effective workplace as well as identify key areas for continual improvements.

 

We are looking for someone with the following:

A team player, with proven organizational, interpersonal skills. You must be schedule-driven with a great customer manner and the ability to perform well under pressure.

 

Qualifications needed:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of related field technician experience
  • Possess formal training, education in electronics technology or equivalent experience
  • Construction background would be considered an asset
  • Must possess a valid passport and be able to travel throughout North America
  • A valid Drivers’ License and clean driving record is required as a condition of employment

 

Skills needed:

  • Strong working knowledge of software and hardware applications in a Linux/Unix, DOS & Microsoft Windows-based environment
  • Ability to operate hand tools such as crimping pliers, screwdrivers, soldering irons, and wrenches
  • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze software and hardware problems using tools of the trade
  • Ability to review post-installation drawings and specifications
