Project Description: This project consists of 24 sites throughout South Africa. Each site consists of Weigh-In-Motion lanes using single Bending Plate Scale sensors and Classification lanes using Piezo sensors. All sites use the DAW100 weigh in motion electronics technology. The DAW100 is a high quality automatic weigh-in-motion and classification system for traffic data collection.
