Project Description: In the mid-1990’s, IRD was contracted to supply, integrate and install WIM sorting capabilities at the Ridgefield and Bowhill weigh stations. IRD constructed Washington’s first ramp WIM sorting system at Bowhill and Washington’s first mainline WIM sorting system at Ridgefield. The successful implementation of Bowhill and Ridgefield, led Washington to establish a six (6) year purchase contract with IRD for the supply of up to 14 mainline WIM sorting systems throughout the State.
