Location: In the city of Delhi, India.

Project Description:This project is located in Delhi and will eventually contain 47 lanes of iTOLL. Each lane is a post classification toll auditing system, including an LIU, a loop and Dynax sensor array, a video capture camera, lane software, and basic surge protection equipment. IRD supplied the lane computers, printer, UPS’s, Camera mounting equipment and a plaza computer. IRD also supplied two (2) Toll Control Center (TCC) Computers. IRD also provided network equipment and connectivity for 10 plaza’s and two (2) CAC/TCC locations. IRD provided installation services to install the iToll equipment and CAT 5 network at each plaza and at the two Toll Control Centers.

There are a total of 9 (nine) plazas, which are listed below:

  1. Badapur: This site is located on the Southeast section of the Delhi perimeter. Typical toll traffic volume for this site is 4500 vehicles per day.
  2. Tikir: This site is located on the West side of Delhi. Average daily traffic is between 2400 and 4500 vehicles per 24 hour period.
  3. Aya Nagar: This site is located on the Southwest corner of the city. Traffic volume at this site is 1700 vehicles per 24 hour period.
  4. Rajokori: This site is located on the southwest corner of the city. The traffic volume is 4500 vehicles per 24 hour period.
  5. New Mandoli: This site is located at the North East corner of Delhi. Toll vehicle traffic is approximately 1400 vehicles per 24 hour period.
  6. Ghazipur: This site is located on the East side of Delhi.
  7. Kundli G T Road (KGT): The KGT site is located on the northern side of Delhi. Estimated traffic is 5500 vehicles per day.
  8. Kalindi Kunj
  9. Kapashera Border: This site is located on the south west corner of Delhi. This site has a considerable amount of local traffic and a small amount of commercial traffic.
