Location:Three (3) remote places – Kaman (just outside the city of Mumbai); Khambatki (located on the Pune to Bangalore highway – National Highway 4); and Kharpada (Mumbai to Goa highway NH17). All locations are in the province of Maharashtra.

Project Description: For this project, IRD installed equipment for 30 TCC toll audit lanes at five (5) locations. These locations are divided as follows: Three (3) locations with four (4) lanes, one (1) location with six (6) lanes and one (1) location with 12 lanes.

The IRD TCC (Traffic Counter / Classifier) Toll Audit System was designed as a low cost alternative automated toll collection and audit system. The TCC system allows the Operator / Client to monitor the traffic count and classification information on an eight (8) hour shift basis for each lane in a plaza, and to match the information to a set time period.
