Project Description: The toll system features manual as well as automated payment using prepaid tickets and smart cards to identify the personnel authorized to operate the system. It also utilizes IRD’s iTOLL video incident detection system. An operations control centre is also provided to enable the Concession to remotely monitor the plazas and control the toll operations.
The three (3) plazas are located along the Briceno – Tunja – Sogomosa Highway. El Roble consists of 12 lanes, while Albarracin and Tuta contains 8 lanes.
