International Road Dynamics Inc. (IRD) is a highway traffic management products and systems technology company operating in the worldwide Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) industry. IRD’s corporate headquarters is located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The company’s U.S. head office is located in Spring Grove, Illinois, with various sales and service offices throughout Canada, the United States and overseas, including Chile, Brazil, Colombia, and India.
IRD is a multi-discipline high-tech company that specializes in advanced traffic and toll management technologies. IRD’s engineers are experts in designing and supplying toll road systems, automated truck weigh station systems, advanced traffic data collection and traffic control systems, freeway management systems, WIM (Weigh-In-Motion) systems, AVL (automatic vehicle location) and real-time dispatch systems based on GPS technology and wireless communications. IRD services and involvement range from equipment supply through to fully integrated turnkey solutions and long term operation, management and service support.
