Travel Messenger Demo
The IRD Travel Messenger system has been deployed in Augusta, Georgia since November of 2007 to provide traffic information during a three year construction project on I-20 and I-520. The system includes traffic detection at 15 locations to monitor current traffic, portable changeable message signs at 17 locations to provide current travel information, and a public website.
