IRD Online Store Classifiers provide the most comprehensive traffic data collection. Total vehicle counts can be collected on 1 to 16 lanes, or vehicle speed and vehicle classification data can be collected on 1 to 8 lanes.
IRD Models:
The Traffic ACE is designed to allow up to four inputs from a variety of sensors. The Standard 16-character LCD allows the user to view all four channels of data without the use of an external display. The unit can simultaneously or independently collect volume, speed and axle classification data. Classification and speed data are collected into 14 bins each. Classification, speed and total volume data are all displayed on one screen.
The IRD TCC540 is a portable, battery-operated, multi-lane time interval traffic counter and classifier that collects valuable traffic data such as: vehicle count, classification, gap, headway, speed by axle, and speed by length. The TC/C 540 offers traffic counts up to 16 lanes and classification up to 8 lanes. The TC/C 540 can be fitted with one to eight road tube sensors, four to sixteen inductive loop sensors, four or eight piezoelectric sensors, and/or four or eight DYNAX® sensors. Data can be downloaded via laptop, PC, Datahog, or remotely with a telephone modem.
IRD's Mini TRS can count up to 4 lanes. The standard four line by 20-character LCD display with 16 alphanumeric keys allows the user to program the unit without a computer. The TRS can be operated with the integrated keypad and display or by a serial link with a computer or modem. It is completely menu-driven for easy operation in the field.

The Unicorn Limited is a compact two lane (2 or 4 road tube) counter/classifier. It comes standard with a 16 key keyboard, 4 line 80 Character Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). A DB-9pin serial port allows programming and data transfer from classifier to computer using a standard null modem cable.
The Unicorn is a lightweight, compact vehicle classifier/counter. It will classify up to two lanes of traffic using road tube, piezo, and/or loop presence sensors. The Unicorn also will count traffic up to four lanes. The Unicorn can be fitted with two or four road tube sensors, up to four remote inputs, two or four loop inputs, and two or four piezo or resistive sensor inputs.
