IRD supplied and installed an Electronic Toll Monitoring (ETM) system consisting of high resolution cameras and transponder readers mounted on a gantry structure over the roadway approaching the Deh Cho Bridge. The system also includes Weigh-In-Motion (WIM) sensors embedded in the highway surface to record the weight and vehicle configuration of in-motion traffic. This technology is the industry standard for traffic data collection.
The system is located one kilometre away from the Bridge on the Fort Providence side. All northbound vehicles crossing the Bridge pass under the gantry and travel over the WIM sensors.

Transponders for use on the bridge may be purchased or leased from International Road Dynamics. For more information, send an email to email@example.com or call toll-free: 1-877-444-4473.
