Saskatoon, SK - January 6, 2017 - International Road Dynamics Inc. (IRD) is attending and exhibiting at the Transportation Research Board (TRB) 96th Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, USA from January 8-12, 2017.
At TRB, IRD will be presenting a wide range of products and technologies. The VectorSense™ tire sensor suite, along with TACS (Tire Anomaly Classification System), is an in-road sensor technology that provides vehicle position and individual tire footprint data for use in traffic data collection programs. Other Weigh-in-Motion technologies and ITS Solutions to be presented are Virtual Weigh Stations (VWS, VWIM), fleet telematics, weigh station bypass systems, highway traffic management systems (HTMS), access control and security, toll/data collection, and bridge monitoring and safety.
The meeting program will cover all transportation modes, with more than 5,000 presentations in nearly 750 sessions and workshops, addressing topics of interest to policy makers, administrators, practitioners, researchers, and representatives of government, industry, and academic institutions. A number of sessions and workshops will focus on the spotlight theme for the 2017 meeting: Transportation Innovation: Leading the Way in an Era of Rapid Change.
